Robotics Engineering

Development of robotic systems for industrial automation, surface processing and specialized mechanical operations. The solutions integrate mechanical design, motion systems, control architecture, manufacturing, automation and industrial implementation, with technical coordination of the interfaces between the different disciplines involved in equipment development and validation.

Robotic Roll Grinding Cell

Complete development of a robotic system for the automated reconditioning of rolling-mill rolls used in the steel industry. The scope included mechanical architecture, kinematic development, parametric 3D CAD modeling, component specification, manufacturing documentation and technical coordination of machining, assembly, automation, programming, testing, installation and commissioning activities.

Mechanical Engineering and CAD Development

Parametric 3D development of the complete mechanical system, encompassing structures, linear and rotary motion mechanisms, grinding units, transmissions, interfaces, protective enclosures and installation components. Each subsystem was designed considering manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, structural integrity and integration with the rolling mill, including machining programming and preparation of the additive manufacturing processes used for component production.

Engineering Drawings

Complete technical documentation for industrial manufacturing, including assembly drawings, component detailing, dimensional specifications and geometric tolerances (GD&T), bills of materials and the information required for machining, manufacturing, assembly and system integration.

Technical Documentation

Technical documentation developed for system installation, operation, maintenance and commissioning, including the technical manual, assembly procedures, component specifications, equipment identification and operating parameters. The documentation consolidated the architecture, subsystems and technical characteristics of the solution and also provided the engineering basis for the patent-protection documentation.

System Integration & Industrial Implementation

Integration of the robotic system with the rolling mill, involving technical coordination between mechanical engineering, manufacturing, assembly, automation, programming and plant teams throughout adjustment, testing, installation and commissioning activities. The implementation consolidated the mechanical and control interfaces into a solution integrated with the production process, enabling the grinding system to operate concurrently with the rolling equipment without interrupting continuous mill operation.

Multi-Axis CNC Positioning System

Conceptual development of a multi-axis CNC positioning system for post-machining operations on die-cast diesel-pump housings. The architecture combines an auxiliary positioning mechanism with a CNC rotary axis, allowing the workpiece to be oriented for machining features distributed across different angular positions and consolidating into a single solution operations that would normally require multiple setups or dedicated fixtures.
